HIF Victorian SUP Titles will be held on the Surf Coast on April 23rd & 24th

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 9 April, 2016 - Premium Geelong board sports retailer, Core Boardsports, has signed on to support the HIF Victorian SUP Titles to be held on the Surf Coast this Autumn.

Geelong and the Surf Coasts largest and only dedicated quailty experts in SUP, Windsurf and Kitesurf, Core Boardsports have been supporters of the event for the past two years.

Surfing Victoria CEO, Adam Robertson is looking forward to another successful event alongside Core Boardsports.

“Its great to have Core Boardsports involved in this event again. Stand Up Paddleboarding is growing at an incredible rate and we are expecting some great paddlers compete again.” said Robertson.

“Along with the elite marathon course, we are offering a community race for those new to SUP which will involved the whole SUP community from the elite through to the beginner.”

Core Boardsports Owner, David Sprague, is excited to be supporting this event for the third year running: 'We are thrilled once again to have the opportunity to support the HIF Victorian SUP Titles being held in our backyard especially with the inclusion of the Surfing and BOP at the epic location of Point Impossible!'

Sprague continued, 'Core strongly believes that without local support from retailers these events wouldn't get the attention and exposure they deserve so as long as Surfing Vic organise these events around the SUP friendly Surf Coast we will continue to offer our support'

The HIF Victorian SUP Titles will be held on the Surf Coast on April 23rd & 24th. Surfing and Technical Races will be held at Point Impossible with the Marathon Course finish line to be at Torquay Front Beach.

The Community Paddle Race is a 3km looped course in Zeally Bay, Torquay.
