Shape to Showroom: Follow LIVE the birth of a surfboard

Facebook Live

Join us at 4pm France time (10am New York & 7am California) on the Surfersvillage Facebook Page

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 28 February, 2017 - Join us as we walk through the creation of a surfboard during a very special Facebook Live at the Euroglass Factory in Hossegor, France.

There is a lot involved in the making a surfboard. From inception in the shaper’s mind to the computer program to the foam blank being rough-cut on the shaping machine and on down to the hand-finished  shape. After that it’s time for glassing and sanding and finishing to make it ready for the showroom floor.

On Wednesday March 1 we will witness the journey of a surfboard being born. From the mind of Christiaan Bradley to the showroom floor we will follow its path and explore all the steps in between.

"I’m super excited about the Facebook Live on SurfersVillage,” said Christiaan. “The program sounds like a fun way to get the general surfing public in touch with what we do with some of our board designs from anywhere in the world, and should be a lot of fun!"

Viewers will also be able to comment and ask design questions during the Facebook LIVE and get expert feedback from Christiaan Bradley himself.
Like Surfersvillage Facebook page here and stay tuned at 4pm French Time.

It all starts at 4:pm France time (10:am New York & 7:am California) on the Surfersvillage Facebook Page.
