New film features Jack O'Neill, Fred Van Dyke, Jack LaLanne, Michael Ho, Jeff Clark and others talking about their local waters

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 25 March, 2017 - The film "The Great Highway," a brief history of Northern California surfing will make its way to Southern California with shaping legend and San Francisco local Bill Hickey talking story.

The Surfing Heritage and Culture Center will host the event on Saturday, March 25.

Winner of the Golden Gate Award at the San Francisco International Ocean Film Festival, screened at the San Pedro International Film Festival and accepted for the 2017 San Luis Obispo International Film Festival, the film stars Jack O'Neill, Fred Van Dyke, Jack LaLanne, Michael Ho, Jeff Clark, Bill Hickey, Rod Lundquist, Dick Keating, Mozelle Angel, and many more.

Surfing Heritage and Culture Center said: "We'll have pizza available for $1 a slice as well as beverages from Longboard Vineyards, beer from Left Coast Breweries, Kona Red energy drinks and Hawaiian Spring Waters. We'll be raffling off a brand new 2017 Psycho One Techno Butter 3 wetsuit from O'Neill (these aren't even available for purchase for another 5 months!) and some other cool swag! Admission is $5 for SHACC members, $10 for non-members, every paying entrant gets a raffle ticket. Doors open at 6, screening at 6:30."
