Merge4 earns officialy certified B corporation status

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 12 March, 2017 - Merge4 announced today that the company has become a Certified B Corporation. This worthy designation is granted to companies who aspire to the B Corporation manifesto, “meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability, and aspire to use the power of business for good.”

"We are dedicated to making purpose-built socks utilizing tools provided by the technological revolution and all it offers in materials, construction, communication and socially responsible ways of doing business," the company said in a statement.

In order to be a Certified B Corporation, MERGE4 went through an uncompromising evaluation to determine that products and company as a whole met performance standards. MERGE4 is excited to join other Certified B Corporations like Patagonia and Klean Kanteen - starting off on the right foot in the sock business.

“MERGE4 strives to be more than a sock brand,” claims founder and CEO Cindi Busenhart. “When Rob Roskopp, Keith Meek, Gigli Locatelli and I sat down to form MERGE4 we knew we wanted to consciously make choices in the early stage of our business to affect as many people’s lives positively for as long as possible. At that point we implemented a No Asshole Rule and being a Certified B Corporation really aligns that vision. Always learning and growing for the betterment of the team, community and environment.”
