The 25-year-old site provides surf conditions to 40,000 visitors each day
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 29 June, 2017 - France’s favourite webcam stop, Surf-Report has revamped their entire website. The new site allows users to check the current surf conditions locally and globally, with a special focus on France and its Dom-Toms.
The site utilises a global throng of reporters, who monitor conditions with photos or videos and personal commentary. The reporters also advise if conditions are more suited for beginning or advanced surfers.
“For this new version we have completely revised our forecast model,” the company said in a press release.
For quick reference users can check the forecast and report for their local spot and find out the session's “star-rating” to see how it compares to other spots nearby.
The site also offers videos, in-depth articles, interviews and portfolios along with a news page that gathers information about surfing in France and around the world.
Other perks to the new site include geo-targeted email forecasts, buoy surveys, tide schedules and surf stuff for sale.
