Dress and digital watch brand expands with Armitron Adventure
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 25 July, 2017 - Armitron announced the launch of Armitron Adventure earlier this year at Baselworld, the world's foremost watch and jewelry show, in Switzerland. The Armitron Adventure collection has been designed to, in the words of Armitron "encourage wearers to create their own adventure, whether it is hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, surfing or walking to work."
The new watches include sport and design features that match high-tech elements such as altimeters, barometers, compasses, calorie consumption and activity trackers with rugged leather or nylon straps, stainless steel construction, and illuminated dials.
Unlike many other watches with activity trackers, Armitron Adventure will be available at an accessible price point, ranging from $55 - $140 USD.
“Since 1956, Armitron has embodied and nurtured the spirit of individuality, and we have made it our brand’s mission to create stylish and functional watches accessible to every person,” said Bobbie Weichselbaum, Executive Vice President, E. Gluck Corporation. “We are launching Armitron Adventure to give our wearers an opportunity to build a connection between their everyday life and their adventurous spirit.”
The manufacturer of high quality, fashionable dress and digital watches made the collection available for purchase at the end of May this year. Customers can choose from thirteen available Armitron Adventure watches on Amazon.com, ranging in price from $55 to $140.
“This is a product that people can wear comfortably when they are outdoors, going on a hike, biking, canoeing, surfing or camping.” said Matthew Shell, Vice President of Product Development. “The watches in the collection have a timeless component to them, giving the consumer something comfortable that is going to last them for a very long time with features that are easy to use.”
